Finally I'm back! Both back from busy schedules and trip to KL. Lovely trip with hubby I can say. Well, though shopping isn't as fantastic I thought it should be. Yes, glad to mention that its my first trip to KL. I went genting for the third time though.
AWAS! Some photos were pretty obseen with ugly faces of ours (no makeup) and messy hair (no style). Bear with it till the last.
14th May 2006 to 18th May 2006 (At genting)Day 1 & 2 --> 14th - 15th May 2006The coach took off from Singapore to genting at approximately 10pm. Excited, anxious, delightful, whatever you can think of. The best part is.. We got upgraded to first class since there isn't any 25 seater coach available. Isn't that awesome? Yah, its a great start, credits to Transtar. However, as we were the last couple on board, we were seated at the last row. The worst part is.. the TV/game is spoilt. Whatever. Its kind enough of them to upgrade us to the first class.

Arrived at First World Hotel at approximately 5:30am. Got our room without any waiting with just 20bucks. Fair enough. We stayed the simplest hotel with the simplest room. Look at it!

Look at the table full of tidbits and cup noodles. We couldn't finish everything of course. Greedy hubby's idea to bring so much food.

Without much time wasted, we hurried for breakfast at some dim sum restaurant. Affordable price with not-so-bad quality.

Look at how strong the wind is..

Football world cup!!!

Believe or not.. The gun is for real..

Oh no!! I'm fat..

Ice cream in icy cold weather.. I like.. YumZ!

Walking around genting. Don't be deceived by our attire. It isn't that cold surprisingly. Its like 18 degree celsius?

Caught a movie called the Poseidon. Pretty exciting and touching. Its similar to Titanic.
During the night, we took a cab down to the mushroom farm that everyone was talking about. We got conned by the cabbies telling us that its pretty far down the hill. Damn! We paid RM10 for a less-than-5-mins ride. Stupid us. Whatever as long as the food is good. Well, it turned out to be a disappointment. The food isn't really fantastic. The price weren't really cheap. I wonder how it got its name. I really wonder..

Disappointed faces..

We walked all the way up which took us almost an hour. We took the long way since we were enjoying the weather. I love the weather alot.. and I'm missing it now..
Caught a movie again, Mission Impossible 3. Fairly good. Such a pity to flare up a lambo *sigh*.
Day 3 --> 16th May 2006Rise and shine. Got up real early for breakfast. Thought of joining the kids at the theme park. However, many rides were closed and the sky was dark. Fortunately, it started pouring like around 3pm?
Our heavy breakfast

Disappointed face outside the theme park

Went to K-lunch instead. Its freaking cheap! RM27 in total with 2 curry rice sets? Which cost like approximately S$6/person for 2hrs of K + lunch?

Bowling right after K-lunch. Well, I've improved to approx. 90 points per game. I'm hopeless in bowling. I'm good at cleaning the drain for them yah?
Then, walked around and caught another movie, Naked Avengers (Just can't help it. Malaysia's movies are dirt cheap!!).

I'm almost as tall as Suria KLCC
Day 4 --> 17th May 2006
Not much photos were taken since we went to the theme park. Started pouring at around 4pm after we finished with the rides we yearn for.

18th May 2006 to 20th May 2006 (At KL)Day 4 --> 18th May 2006Sad day since we were leaving for KL. I just can't help falling in love with the weather in genting. Cooling yet not really cold. Sunny yet you won't perspire.

Reached KL at approx. 1:30pm. We stayed at midah Hotel near the China Town area. It isn't any exquisite hotels like concorde or whatever. However, the services they provide wouldn't lose to any 5 stars hotel.

Proceeded straight to Sungei Wang for shopping!! Quite a nice shopping place if you're
NOT a Tai Tai. Alot of cheap stuffs for young people like us. However, alot of their shops were pretty.. errmm.. what do you call that? Well, not really suitable for me I can say. I'm a minimalist who go for simpler tops and bottoms. Get what I mean? Nevermind if you don't.
Took a train there. I can memorize some of their stations already. Maha... (The station that is near our hotel), Huang Tuah, Imbi (Time Square shopping centre), Bukit Bintang, blah blah, Bukit Nanas (Suria KLCC), blah blah blah.. lol.

I love this restaurant sis introduced to us. Its really nice!! You can mix any 3 types of meat available. Its located at Sungei Wang's entrance at lower ground. *slurps*

Went to Time square (nothing much) and China town (for cheap sport shoes) after that. Poor me got conned by hubby to walk from our hotel to Bukit Bintang for supper. Its 2 stations away by the way. Almost fainted when I got there. Besides, met 2 crazy fellows following us (They are not together. Its 2 different people at 2 different time). Its pretty obvious they are up to something no good. When we stop, those fellows stop. One of them was ridiculous. Guess they really think we were idiots. When we stop, acting to buy something from the 7-11, he stopped too by praying to a mineral bottle on the floor. Yes, praying. Silly, crazy people. Thanx to my hubby who protected me all the way *muacks* My hubby was really observant and protective. Love him so much!!
Day 5 --> 19th May 2006Woke up early for the complimentary breakfast. Went to Mid way shopping centre, Bukit Bintang (sungei wang, lot 10, low yat, KL plaza, planet Hollywood, etc.), Bukit Nanas (KLCC & Hard Rock Cafe), etc. And caught another movie for RM6 per person (cos its a morning movie) only!!! We caught the movie "Over the hedge", its super hilarious!!
At one Japanese restaurant

Went back to chinatown for more shoes. Had our dinner at some small alley. The claypot rice is fantastic!!! *slurps*

At KLCC. Trying to take some artistic photos. -_-"

Day 6 --> 20th May 2006Another sad Saturday since we were leaving Malaysia. Woke up early for breakfast again before our last minute shopping. Look at how exhausted we were..
